The Neighborhood Watch Program is NOT a law enforcement agency. We will not become an enforcement part of the sub-division for the enforcement of any violations of The Edgewaterd at Lanier Covenants. This will continue to be covered by the architect committee appointed the president.
This program shall work with the sheriff's department to notify the residents of any suspicious activity or condition that is or may exist that the residents should be made aware of.
Upon complaints of traffic violations, suspicious vehicles entering the neighborhood for what appears to be no reasonable purpose on numerous occurrences would be reported to the sheriff's dept. and the block captain to investigate. Barking dogs, loud music, curfew violations,( 1200-0500 hrs) teenagers, solicitation by any person/persons for the sale or business purpose or service presently occurring should notify the sheriff's department and the block captain.
Any activity occurring in the common area by person/persons unknown and not a member of the ssociation at night should notify the sheriff's department and the block captain.
Suspicious person/persons, vehicles or activity occurring around a neighbors home should be reported to the sheriff's department and the block captain so as a notice can be sent to all residents.
ANY SUSPICIOUS CONDITION OCCURRING THAT IS BEING OBSERVED BY A HOME OWNER SHOULD IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE SHERIFF'S DEPT, AND THE BLOCK CAPTAIN.
The Neighborhood Watch Program is provided as a service of the sheriff's department and is an additional tool used to assist the residents of a safe and protected environment to reside.
The program is designed to assist the agency with additional eyes and ears and a means to receive information in a timely manner.
